Couple arrested in iPhone theft from passenger at JFK: Post

JAMAICA — A JetBlue flight attendant and her boyfriend were arrested in connection with the theft of an iPhone from a traveler at John F. Kennedy International Airport, the New York Post reported.

According to the Post, Stacy-Ann Smith and her boyfriend Jason McCaulay, both of Hollis, were going through security for a trip to Aguadilla, P.R., when McCaulay allegedly took the phone from a bin.

The Post reported Smith said McCaulay put the phone in her pocket without her knowledge, but allegedly later told cops she left the phone in a bathroom stall after police officers approached McCaulay about the theft.
