Three-car collision results in injury and fire

BROAD CHANNEL — At least three cars were involved in a collision that injured at least one person and left a car in flames Monday afternoon.

A TimesLedger Newspapers reporter witnessed the immediate aftermath of the crash, which occurred on Cross Bay Boulevard around 3:30 p.m.

Emergency responders on the scene put one man onto a stretcher and into an ambulance, and firefighters extinguished the blaze that engulfed the front of one of the cars.
