Four robbers stole $40K with forged checks: Cops

RICHMOND HILL — The NYPD is looking for four people they believe to have committed grand larceny at several Chase Banks in the Richmond Hill area.

The two men and two women are suspected of cashing 25 forged checks, the total of which is more than $40,000.

Those with information should contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers by phone at 1-800-577-TIPS, by its website at nypdcrimestoppers.com or by text at 274637 (CRIMES) and entering TIP577.
