Forest Hills man missing after leaving house

FOREST HILLS — Police were asking for the public to help locate an 88-year-old man who went missing last week.

Lin Weng was last seen leaving his house on 68th Avenue around 3 p.m. Feb. 28, police said.

He is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket and black shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips by logging on to Crime Stoppers’ website at nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting their tips to CRIMES (274637), then enter TIP577. All calls are strictly confidential.
