Police arrest suspect in Astoria library groping

ASTORIA — Police said they arrested and charged an Astoria man with forcibly touching a teenage girl inside a Queens library earlier this month.

According to the NYPD, 56-year-old Hector Troche was charged with sex abuse, forcible touching and public lewdness after he allegedly grabbed the crotch of a 15-year-old girl March 4 around 6 p.m. inside the Queens Public Library, at 40-20 Broadway.

The girl fled the location and no injuries were reported, the NYPD said.
