Cops need to ID robber who hit bank in Sept.

MIDDLE VILLAGE — Police were asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a bank robbery in September of last year.

According to authorities, the white male suspect, age 45 to 50, entered the Cross County Savings Bank on Eliot Avenue in Middle Village around 3 p.m. and passed a note to the teller demanding money.

The teller complied and the man fled with an unknown amount of money.

He is described as 6 feet or 6-foot-2 with a pale complexion and thin build, weighing between 150 and 160 pounds.

He was last seen wearing thick glasses, a red wig, a gray hooded sweatshirt and a blue cap with an “NY” logo on it.
