Cops hunt would-be Rosedale bank robbery suspect

ROSEDALE — Police were seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating a suspect wanted in connection with an attempted bank robbery in Rosedale Feb. 27.

According to authorities, the suspect, a black male in his 20s, entered the Bank of America on South Conduit Avenue just before 2 p.m. and passed a note to the teller demanding money before taking the note back and fleeing the location.

The suspect is described as 6 feet tall and weighing between 160 and 180 pounds. He was wearing a light gray, hooded sweatshirt and a black scarf tucked inside around the neck.
