112th Pct. meeting to address burglary spree

Officials in Forest Hills have announced a special meeting April 2 to address a recent burglary spree in the 112th Precinct.

The string of burglaries began Feb. 22, and since then the neighborhood has seen nine break-ins in Forest Hills Gardens, between Metropolitan Avenue and Fleet Street and between 69th and Continental avenues, according to the 112th Precinct Community Council.

The meeting will take place April 2 at Our Lady of Mercy Church, at 70-01 Kessel St., at 7:30 p.m.
