SJU to host human trafficking talk

St. Johns University is hosting Human Trafficking: Whose Business Is It?”

Human trafficking is the illegal trade of humans for sexual exploitation or forced labor and has become a widespread issue across the world.

Sandi Mitchell, a global technology leader and sponsor of Passport to Freedom, an industry group devoted to fighting child sex trafficking, will be the keynote presenter at this event.

Human trafficking is present in every country in the world, and this event is committed to ending this epidemic.

The event will take place April 6 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the D’Angelo Center, Room 416 at St. Johns University, at 80-00 Utopia Pkwy.
