Police looking for man who robbed teen girl

KEW GARDENS — The NYPD is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with groping and robbing a 14-year-old girl in an elevator in a Kew Gardens building.

Cops said the suspect, a black male in his 30s, followed the victim into a building near Union Turnpike and Queens Boulevard April 18.

While in the elevator, the suspect allegedly demanded her phone, money and jewelry and groped her as he searched for property.

The suspect is described as standing at 6-foot-3 and weighing 180 pounds, wearing a bright, red hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and a dark-colored backpack.
