A South Jamaica man was shot and killed and another man wounded Saturday in an early morning shooting in a Jamaica restaurant, the NYPD said.

Police arrived at El Nuevo Cafe Latino at about 2 a.m. after reports of gunfire and found Jony Gonzales, 27, dead with a gunshot wound to the chest, according to police.

Another man was shot in the stomach and taken to Jamaica Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition, the NYPD said.

Workers in shops nearby the restaurant, which is located at 144-11 Jamaica Ave., said this was not the first time gunfire has erupted in the neighborhood.
