FOREST HILLS — Police were seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a burglary May 20.
According to authorities, the suspect entered an apartment building on Austin Street at 2 a.m. and removed the key box from the front lobby.
Cops said he used the key to enter the front door and then went to the laundry room where he tried, unsuccessfully, to remove the cash box.
The suspect then fled the scene, police said.
Cops released a surveillance photo of the man they said is a suspect with facial hair and dark sunglasses.
