A woman was allegedly elbowed and punched in the face after she told a man to stop touching her leg on a Queens subway train, according to the NYPD.
Police said on May 30, around 7:50 a.m., a 46-year-old woman was riding a Manhattan-bound E train near the Court Square-23rd Street station when a man sat down next to her and started touching her leg. When the woman told the man to stop, he allegedly elbowed and punched the victim in the face. The suspect then left the train and fled the station, police said.
The victim received bruising to her face and refused medical attention at the scene, the NYPD said.
The suspect is described as a black male, between 40-to-50-years old, 6 feet tall and weighing between 200 and210 pounds, and has an accent.
