Cops investigating death of baby in Rockaway Beach home

ROCKAWAY BEACH – Police found the dead body of a four-month-old baby over the weekend but were not yet able to figure out why, the NYPD said.

Officers responded to a call around 8 a.m. on Saturday, June 1 where the baby lived on Beach 95th Street within the 100th Precinct, where they found Daquan Watson unconscious and unresponsive, police said.

The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death and the investigation was ongoing, the NYPD said.
