Teen robbed 2 people on M train: Police

REGO PARK — Police were searching for a suspect wanted in two robberies that occurred on the northbound M train.On May 14 at 12:30 p.m., the suspect allegedly stole a woman’s iPhone and fled the train as it pulled into the 67th Avenue station according to the NYPD.

Then on June 6 at 12:45 p.m., the suspect attempted to steal another woman’s iPhone. The victim fought with the suspect, and the suspect hit the victim’s head on the train door, police said. After allegedly stealing both the phone and the victim’s MetroCard, the suspect fled, again from the 67th Avenue station, the NYPD said.The suspect was later caught on surveillance camera using the second victim’s MetroCard at the Parsons Boulevard-Archer Avenue station police said.The suspect is described as a black male around 5 feet 10 inches tall, 16 or 17 years of age and weighing between 150 and 160 pounds.
