Ozone Park man who escaped during arrest apprehended by police: Cops

OZONE PARK — An Ozone Park man who allegedly escaped while being placed under arrest in Harlem Saturday was collared by police, the NYPD said Tuesday.

Lawrence Mason, of 89-01 Liberty Ave., was charged with reckless endangerment, resisting arrest, escape, bail jumping, obstructing governmental administration and criminal mischief with the intent to damage property, cops said.

Police said Mason allegedly got away while he was being placed under arrest June 22. He had last been spotted entering the subway station at 116th Street and Lenox Avenue before he was apprehended, according to the NYPD.
