Jackson Heights resident found dead: Cops

JACKSON HEIGHTS — A 56-year-old man was found dead Monday within the confines of the 115th Precinct.

According to the NYPD, around 2 p.m. officers responded to a 911 call for an unconscious male near 72-10 37th Ave. Upon arrival, police discovered an unconscious and unresponsive man. EMS responded and pronounced him dead on arrival.

A spokeswoman for the city’s Office of the Chief Medical Examiner said an autopsy was done, but that further examination was needed.

The name of the deceased is being withheld pending family notification.

An investigation is ongoing, police said.
