Suspect in attempted rape sought in Richmond Hill: NYPD [With Video]

Police were looking for a man who grabbed a 21-year-old woman from behind, threw her to the ground and allegedly tried to rape her in Richmond Hill early Friday morning, the NYPD said.

The suspect attacked near 115th Street and 85th Avenue at about 3:15 a.m. and was described as a 180-pound, 5-foot-9 Hispanic man with medium complexion, police said.

Police released surveillance footage of a man they identified as the suspect.
