Three arrested in alleged Flushing beating, iPhone theft: NYPD

FLUSHING — A teen who was beaten had her cellphone taken after trying to collect evidence against her attackers, according to cops.

On Jan. 12 at around 5:30 a.m., four people punched and kicked an 18-year-old girl numerous times near the intersection of Rose Avenue and Kissena Boulevard, according to police.

After sustaining the blows, the girl then ran after the group and attempted to film them with her iPhone 4, police said, but the group then took her phone.

Police said three people – 27-year-old Choon Wong, 32-year-old Hei Yu and 28-year-old Yin Sham – were arrested in connection with the attack.
