ELMHURST — The NYPD was searching for a suspect in an Elmhurst burglary.
Police said last Sunday around 7:40 p.m., a black man in his 20s approached a trailer, at 70-14 Garfield Ave. The suspect entered the victim’s work trailer and allegedly attempted to steal property, but fled empty-handed in a blue van, police said.
The man was described as 6-foot tall and 160 pounds.
