Cops search for Jackson Heights robber: NYPD

JACKSON HEIGHTS — The Police Department seeking help in finding a man wanted in connection with an armed robbery in Jackson Heights, cops said.

The suspect, described by police as an Asian man in his 30s, went into Asia Bazaar on 37th Avenue July 7 around 2:30 a.m. and allegedly sprayed the store clerk with an irritant and took money from the cash register, the NYPD said. The amount he took was unknown and he immediately fled on foot, cops said.

The Police Department described the man as having a bald head and a beard.
