Serial armed robbery suspect strikes Forest Hills: Cops

FOREST HILLS — Police are on the lookout for a suspect wanted in connection with robberies at five different businesses in Queens and Manhattan.

In each incident, the suspect entered a commercial business, acted as if he had a firearm inside a black plastic bag and demanded cash from the victim, police said.

In the first incident, on Aug. 6, the suspect entered a Metro PCS store, on Woodside Avenue, at 7:09 p.m. The victim complied and the suspect fled, according to cops.

In an Aug. 9 incident, the suspect entered Pasticceria Amore bakery, on 71st Road, and demanded cash before victim also complied and handed over money, the NYPD said.

The other robberies targeted grocery stores and another bakery in Manhattan, according to cops.

The suspect was wearing a black Oakland Raiders baseball cap, a black shirt and sunglasses in every incident. He was described as having a scar on the right side of his face and tattoos with lettering on both arms.
