Transit worker faces weapons charge

FRESH MEADOWS — A city transit employee was arrested this week and charged with criminal possession of a weapon, police said.

Cops arrested 25-year-old Satchel Corso at about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 107th Precinct, which covers neighborhoods including Fresh Meadows, Briarwood, Pomonok and Jamaica Estates.

He was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and possession of a controlled substance, according to the NYPD.
