Suspects lifted items from Con Ed truck in Corona: NYPD

CORONA – The Police Department was asking for the public’s help in finding suspects wanted in connection with a burglary in Corona, cops said.

A Consolidated Edison crew was working near 108th Street and Roosevelt Avenue around 11:45 a.m. Aug. 9 when two suspects allegedly went into the utility’s work truck and stole some property, police said.

Anyone with information was asked to call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips by logging on to the Crime Stoppers website at nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
