RIDGEWOOD — Police are looking for whoever is responsible for shooting a 27-year-old man in the buttocks Saturday night, authorities said.

The victim told officers who responded to a home in Brooklyn at about 10:30 p.m. that he was shot near the intersection of Cooper and Cypress avenues in Ridgewood, but was otherwise uncooperative, according to cops. The 27-year-old was taken to Brookdale Hospital, police said.

Members of the 104th Precinct conducted an investigation at the Ridgewood shooting scene, and then interviewed the victim again at the hospital, authorities said.

However cops said the man changed his story about what happened, was again uncooperative and left the hospital without explanation.

Those with information should contact NYPD’s Crimestoppers by calling 1-800-577-TIPS (8477), visiting its website at nypdcrimestoppers.com or texting 274637 (CRIMES) and entering TIP577.
