Thousands of fans flocked to Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day Saturday afternoon at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows Corona Park.

The day-long tennis and music festival pays tribute to the late tennis star Arthur Ashe, who contracted HIV from a blood transfusion and died in 1993.

During the event, First Lady Michelle Obama spoke about her “Let’s Move!” campaign, before joining her daughters, Malia and Sasha, in the stands.

Performers included: Ariana Grande, Austin Mahone, Coco Jones, Fifth Harmony, Swedish DJ duo Cazzette and the band Lawson.

Tennis players Serena Williams, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal took part in a competition to raise money for charity.
