Southeast Queens man murdered in Brooklyn

QUEENS VILLAGE — Police arrested a suspect on theft charges Tuesday, a day after he allegedly shot and killed a Queens man during an attempted armed robbery in Brooklyn, according to the NYPD and the New York Post.

Brooklyn resident Robert Bullock, 24, was arrested Tuesday and charged in the murder of 32-year-old Mohammed Bilal of Queens Village, police said.

On Monday, Bullock allegedly shot Bilal once in the chest inside the New Attitude Printing Ink and Internet Cafe in the East New York section of Brooklyn before fleeing empty handed, the Post reported.

The following day police arrested Bullock on unrelated robbery charges, the newspaper reported, before eventually charging him with murder, attempted robbery and criminal possession of a weapon in regards to Monday’s incident, according to cops.
