Police were looking for a silver minivan after its driver mowed down a 58-year-old woman on the “Boulevard of Death” Saturday night and fled, a spokeswoman for the NYPD said.

Nisath Hossain, of Elmhurst, was crossing Queens Boulevard from the south side to the north at 71st Avenue in Forest Hills at about 10:15 p.m. when she was hit, police believe. Authorities said she was struck by a silver minivan heading west on the roadway.

After arriving at the scene, emergency responders brought Hossain to North Shore University Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

As of Sunday afternoon, there had not yet been any arrests made in connection with Hossain’s death, police said.
