SOUTH JAMAICA — A teenager was sentenced to 20 years behind bars this week after he pleaded guilty in July for his involvement in the vicious Oct. 28, 2011 attack on a 17-year-old whose throat was slashed during a cellphone robbery, the Queens DA said.

A group of males, including Stephon Huffman, 19, of South Jamaica, got 17-year-old Patrick Dixon in a headlock near the corner of 142nd Street and 120th Avenue around 11 a.m. and demanded his phone, the DA said. After Dixon put up a fight, another teen slashed his neck with a razor blade, the DA said.

Huffman and the two other alleged attackers chased Dixon as blood was spurting out of his neck, and continued to demand his phone after the 17-year-old collapsed on the ground, the DA said.

Huffman admitted in court his face, mouth, jacket, sweatshirt and pants had been sprayed with Dixon’s blood.
