Man stole computers, purse in Flushing: Cops

FLUSHING — Police were asking the public to help identify a suspect wanted for stealing computers and a purse along Main Street.

Surveillance photos from one of the incidents show a well-dressed black man around 40 years old wearing a black jacket and a dark-colored Kangol hat.

Police said on two separate occasions in November he stole computers from a store on the corner of Main Street and Roosevelt Avenue around 12:30 p.m.

On Jan. 10, police said, he stole a woman’s purse from a restaurant on Main Street near Franklin Avenue.
