Abandoned baby found in S. Ozone Park: NY Post

SOUTH OZONE PARK — An abandoned newborn baby was discovered in the backyard of a South Ozone Park home, the New York Post reported.

The couple living in the home woke up to the sound of crying Sunday at 6 a.m., the paper said.They then discovered the naked infant with its umbilical cord attached, and after they called 911, the child was taken to Jamaica Hospital and was listed in stable condition, according to the Post’s story.
