FOREST HILLS — Police were looking for a crafty trio who allegedly teamed up to steal money from a mother’s purse, the NYPD said.

Two of the suspects, women in their mid-20s, distracted the 54-year-old mom by chatting her up about her baby at the Astoria Federal Savings Bank, at 63-72 108th St., around 1 p.m. Oct. 2, police said.

While the woman was distracted, a third suspect, a light-skinned male in his early 20s, allegedly stole money from her pocketbook, police said.

Those with information should contact NYPD’s Crimestoppers by calling 1-800-577-TIPS (8477), visiting its website at nypdcrimestoppers.com or texting 274637 (CRIMES) and entering TIP577.
