FLUSHING — Police were asking for the public’s help in finding two male suspects in two street robberies in Flushing and Briarwood that occurred Sunday after midnight.
The suspects approached a 22-year-old man near the intersection of 58th Road and 138th Street before putting him in a choke hold, pulling a gun on him and demanding he hand over his smartphone and wallet, said police.
They then threatened a 38-year-old woman getting out of her car and took her iPhone, purse and wallet, said police.
Police described the suspects as approximately 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9 and 18 to 20 years old with thin builds.
Those with information should contact NYPD’s Crimestoppers by calling 1-800-577-TIPS (8477), visiting its website at nypdcrimestoppers.com or texting 274637 (CRIMES) and entering TIP577.
