NYPD searching for suspect in string of bank robberies

BAYSIDE — The NYPD is asking for help identifying an individual wanted for a bank robbery at the Flushing Savings Bank branch, located at 188-08 Hollis Court Blvd. on Oct. 25. The suspect passed a demand note and fled with an undetermined amount of money, cops said

Police believe the same suspect struck a month later at a Chase Bank branch at 31-05 30th Ave. on Nov. 25. when the suspect allegedly made off with $3,000 in cash. The NYPD believes the same man also tried to rob the Chase Bank at 47-11 Queens Blvd. that same day before fleeing without cash.

Police say the suspect was last seen wearing a black ski cap, black jacket, eyeglasses and carrying a black nap sack.
