FLUSHING — Police arrested a man last week wanted for attempting to lure a 14-year-old girl and a 13-year-old girl into his car on Northern Boulevard in two separate incidents on the same day, the NYPD said.

According to police, Angel Recalde, 43, was arrested and charged with two counts of luring a child to commit a crime, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and two counts of harassment.

Police said Recalde allegedly drove alongside his would-be victims and tried to get them to enter his vehicle. In one of the incidents, the suspect allegedly got out of his car and tired to physically force the girl into his car.

Both victims were able to flee the suspect.
