Police identified the male victim in the Ridgewood double homicide as 21-year-old Louis Oscar Padilla-Lopez, the NYPD said Friday.

Officers found a couple shot to death in their Ridgewood apartment building on Summerfield Street near the corner of Seneca Avenue Thursday evening while responding to a 911 call at about 6:30 p.m., police said.

The Police Department identified the female, who had been shot in the torso, as Natalie Mejia-Tavares Thursday night.

By Friday, the NYPD said the man, who had been shot in the head, was identified as 21-year-old Louis Oscar Padilla-Lopez.

Officers had not recovered a weapon as of Friday afternoon, the NYPD said.

The Police Department said it did not have any suspects in the couple’s death.

Police spent Friday morning handed out palm cards offering up to $2,000 for tips on Summerfield Street.

Although few neighbors seemed to the know the pair, passers-by seemed surprised by the crime.

Joseph Wilfinger, who has lived in the building where the shooting occurred for more than 45 years, said he did not hear anything out of the ordinary Thursday night and found out about the deaths from a niece who read about it online and called him.

“I’m the oldest tenant in the building,” Wilfinger said, noting he believed the couple was relatively new to the apartment building. “I’ve never seen anything like this.”
