Sanitation worker charged with driving while ability impaired: NYPD

JAMAICA — An on-duty city Sanitation Department employee was arrested early Wednesday morning and charged with impaired driving after he allegedly crashed into a parked car, police said.

Dewayne Ruddock, 33, was behind the wheel just after midnight when he allegedly struck an occupied parked car at the corner of 132nd Avenue and Rockaway Boulevard, according to cops.

Ruddock was given a Breathalyzer test and subsequently charged with driving while ability impaired, police said. He had not been arraigned as of Wednesday morning, the Queens DA’s office said.
