By Sarina Trangle

Police are searching for the driver of a BMW who struck and killed a Glendale man riding a bicycle in Brooklyn early Wednesday morning and sent two others to the hospital, the NYPD said.

The Police Department said Angel Torres, 46, of Glendale, was hit by a 2014 BMW in the intersection of Broadway and Halsey Street around 7:50 a.m. Wednesday.

Officers said Torres, who was found unconscious with severe head and body trauma, was rushed to Woodhull Hospital and pronounced dead on arrival.

The BMW continued traveling east on Broadway, where it rammed into an unoccupied, parked car, said the police.

After turning right on Thomas Boyland Street, police said the BMW crashed into a 2000, Toyota 4-Runner pulling out of a driveway near Chauncey Street.

The two people in the Toyota were brought to Woodhull Hospital in stable condition, according to the NYPD.

Police said they are still searching for the unidentified man behind the wheel of the BMW.

He was last seen fleeing on foot from the corner of Thomas Boyland and Chauncey streets, police said.
