Artist who scaled Q-boro bridge surrenders: Cops

Brendan Fagan was charged with climbing the Ed Koch-Queensboro Bridge to show off his artwork, police said.

LONG ISLAND CITY — On March 24, 35-year-old Brendan Fagan allegedly climbed the Ed Koch-Queensboro Bridge and proceeded to display artwork on the bridge while videotaping the entire incident, police said.

Fagan turned himself in last Friday at the 19th Precinct with his lawyer present, according to cops.

Fagan was charged with criminal trespass, reckless endangerment and violation of local law, police said.
