Two wanted in Rego Park bank robbery: NYPD

REGO PARK — Police were searching for two men they say robbed a bank in Rego Park last week.

The NYPD said two suspects entered a TD bank, at 63-54 108th St., around 3 p.m. April 4 and allegedly demanded money from the teller. One man jumped over the counter and allegedly took about $1,700 from a drawer, according to police, before both suspects fled from the scene.

The first suspect was described by authorities as a black man between 25 and 30 years old and approximately 5-foot-11 with a dark complexion and a slim build. He was seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and sunglasses and has a beard, according to cops.

The second suspect is a black man approximately 25 years old and about 6-foot-1 with a slim build, police said.
