The Bayside Anglers plan to spruce up the shoreline of Little Neck Bay Sunday during the group’s 20th annual cleanup.
“We have 100 people come down,” said Anglers member Jack Morderno, of the expected turnout. “This is our big year.”
Bayside Anglers Waterfront Day is expected to kick off at 9 a.m. and run until about noon.
A tent will be set up at the Bayside Marina, at 28-05 Cross Island Pkwy., where organizers will keep track of participants working within the 3-mile stretch of waterfront park bordered by Little Neck Bay and Cross Island Parkway.
The group usually picks up about 250 bags’ worth of garbage during its effort.
