BREAKING NEWS: F train derails near Woodside’s 65th Street station

Shortly before 10:45 a.m. Friday, a Brooklyn-bound express F train derailed near the 65th Street subway station in Queens, an MTA spokeswoman said.

A spokeswoman for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority confirmed the train had left the tracks, but could not offer much more information.

“There are no details at this time,” she said. “It is breaking news and our people are on their way there now.”
