Scandal in LIC school

By Bill Parry

A Queens principal was removed from her position after she was accused of allegedly having sex with a security guard, an assistant professor and a student’s parent, according to the city Department of Education.

Annie Schmutz Seifullah, 35, was escorted from the Robert Wagner Secondary School of Arts and Technology in Long Island City April 30 after she was accused of having sex during school hours, according to the NY Post.

“We are appalled by these disturbing allegations,” DOE spokesman David Pena said. “The department acted swiftly to remove the principal while the matter is under investigation. This type of behavior is completely unacceptable for any DOE employee.”

Seifullah was suspended as principal and reassigned to non-school duties while the DOE continues to investigate, according to a DOE spokesman.

The scandal reached the Bronx, where Dany Velazquez was removed as principal at PS 5, and reassigned, pending a DOE investigation of his alleged sexual relations with Seifullah, according to the NY Post.
