SOUTH JAMAICA — A 15-year-old girl was found dead with a gunshot wound to her head in a South Jamaica house late Wednesday, police said.
Authorities were called to the home on 106th Road near Ruscoe Street a little before midnight, and there they discovered the wounded teen, according to cops.
Emergency responders pronounced the unidentified girl dead, and the medical examiner will determine the cause of her death, the NYPD said.
There were no arrests made and an investigation was ongoing, police said.
A spokesman for the NYPD said authorities were investigating whether the girl’s death was a homicide.
