Man stabbed in back near Big Mac in Jamaica

JAMAICA – A man was stabbed in the back Tuesday morning on Sutphin Boulevard near 91st Avenue in downtown Jamaica during a fight with other men, a police spokesman said.

The unidentified victim, with the knife sticking in his back, then walked to a McDonald’s nearby before he was taken to Jamaica Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition.

The stabbing occurred minutes before 10 a.m., according to authorities.

EMS respondents were called to the fast food chain and took the victim, in his 50s, to the hospital, the police said.

The suspects fled the scene, the NYPD said.

Police were investigating the incident, and no arrests had been made.
