Four wanted in Far Rockaway burglary

FAR ROCKAWAY — Police were searching for suspects in the burglary of a woman in Far Rockaway in May, the NYPD said.

The NYPD said two men and two women followed a 38-year-old woman from a Bank of America, on Central Avenue, to her home near Cedar Hill Road around 12:15 p.m. May 1.

One female suspect knocked on the victim’s door and told her she dropped money near her car, and while two remaining suspects helped her gather it, a male entered the woman’s home and stole an envelope containing $4,000, police said.

All four suspects fled the location in a white Chrysler Pacifica, according to the NYPD.

One woman was seen on the bank’s surveillance camera and is described as a Hispanic in her mid-20s, approximately 5-foot-4 with a light complexion. She was wearing glasses, a black North Face jacket and blue jeans and had her hair in a ponytail, police said.

The remaining three suspects are described as two Hispanic men and a Hispanic woman.
