JFK construction to suspend AirTrain service

By Juan Soto

The Port Authority will suspend JFK AirTrain service from 10 p.m. Wednesday until 8 a.m. Thursday because of airport construction.

As an alternative, the Port Authority will offer free shuttle buses for all travelers heading to the international airport. Passengers and airport employees trying to get to the airport terminals or parking lots must take the bus services provided by the agency.

All buses will display route information. Shuttle buses will provide service between Jamaica station, Federal Circle and the Central Terminal Area, as well as long-term Parking Lot 9.
