Man held in Jamaica Hills apartment against will for two days: NYPD

By Alex Robinson

An 18-year-old man escaped Thursday from a Jamaica Hills apartment where he was held against his will for two days, police said.

The unidentified man told authorities he had entered the apartment of his own free will Tuesday night before getting into an argument with three men he knew, according to cops.

The man, who would not tell police what the argument was about, said he was struck in the head with an unknown object before being bound with duct tape, the NYPD said.

When the man managed to free himself Thursday morning, he went to a nearby business to call 911 and told the operators he had been abducted, police said.

He was taken to Jamaica Hospital and was in stable condition, according to the NYPD, which was still investigating the incident Thursday afternoon.
