BAYSIDE — The NYPD is asking the public for tips after reopening a 40-year-old murder case in which a teenage girl was found dead in Bayside.
Police were still investigating the death of 17-year-old Leslie Zaret, a Flushing girl who was found strangled in the schoolyard of PS 203, on Springfield Boulevard, Aug. 16, 1974.
The NYPD was asking anyone with information to contact the Crime Stoppers hot line at 1-800-577-TIPS or at nypdcrimestoppers.com.
