State Assemblyman Ron Kim (D-Flushing) officially launched his re-election campaign Sunday.
The Flushing lawmaker faces a rematch of the race he ran two years ago against Republican challenger Phil Gim.
Kim became the first Korean American elected to the state Legislature in 2012 after convincingly beating Gim.
